She was predeceased by: her husband John McCann; her daughter Mary Gismondi; her parents, Henry Beitz and Laura Beitz; and her siblings, Sherwood, Richard Beitz (Janet) and Jeanne (Ross Ante).
She is survived by: her son Patrick; her daughter-in-law Joanne; her grandchildren, Amy Gismondi, Jason McCann (Allison), Julia McCann (Spencer) and Angela Gismondi (Andrew); and her great grandchild Lilly McCann. She is also survived by her extended family members and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in Helen's memory to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.
