He was predeceased by: his former wife Tressa Donkersgoed; his parents, Jans Tinus and Alberdina Katerberg; and his brother Albert (Sienie). He is survived by: his spouse Alie; his children, Carrie Gordon (Jim), John (Sharon), Aldeana Dallman (Robert), Bernice (Bill), Henry (Michelle), Pete (Rosanne), Dave (Christine) and Jeff (Lisa); and his sisters, Janet Wolters (Clarence) and Margo Van Sligtenhorst (Gilbert).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Elora Road Christian Fellowship (5696 Wellington Rd 7, Guelph, ON N1H6J2). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Elora Road Christian School.
