He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thomas and Mary Florence Arsenault; his siblings, Gerald, Harold, Everett, Albert, Arnold and Velma Gallant; and his son Paul.

He is survived by: his brother Oscar (Sue); his sibling-in-law Zena; his wife Rennie Innes; his children, Rolph (Charlene), Mary, James and Jonathan (Ingrid); his grandchildren, Keith (Nikki), Alyssa, Ryan, Charlotte, Evelyn, Austin, Dylan, Gwenyth and Isabelle; and his great grandchildren, Xander, Kira, Vince, Brett, Ellie and Skylar. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and life-long friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association and the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
