With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Phillips of Guelph, Ontario, born in Chatsworth, Ontario, who passed away on January 15, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gwendolyn; his children, Michael (Sandra), Jeff (Janet), Anne and Cathy; his grandchildren, Daniel, Emily (Mark), Robert (Sam), Rachel (Sia), Vicki, Ian, Eric, Nicole and Alexis; his great grandchild Gwen; and his parents, MacKinnon Phillips and Erla. He was also cherished by wife and children.
Jim remained active in his retirement - golfing, playing clarinet in a local band, enjoying extended family at the cottage, joining every family Euchre game, attending Menâs Club and the ROMEO group (retired old men eating out), participating in exercise and church by video during COVID and mixing a Gin and Tonic for any visitor.
