She is survived by: her husband Jack; her children, David (Ramona) of Guelph and Cathy (late Kim) of Bolton; her grandchildren, Christina, Kirk, John and Carrie; and her nieces and nephews, Judy, Bill, Janet, Carol, Jill, Dan, Jerry and Gary.

Donations to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.

As you know, my father (your mum's cousin) always said that it was her newsy letters from home that kept him going during the dark days of World War 2, when he was in the trenches. It is sad to see the passing of this amazing generation, but they left a fine example for all of us to follow. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.”
