He is survived by : his children, Jennifer Smith (Wayne) and Gordon Lace (Janet); his stepchildren, Sandra (Greg), Karen (Tim) and Donna; his grandchildren, Chad, Madison Smith and Kody Lace; his stepgrandchildren, Justin (Sondra), Emily (Scott), Faith, Caitlin and Nick; his stepgreat-granddaughter Julia; and also, Howard (late Maureen) and Glenn (Barbara). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society or the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated.
