He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jacqueline Eskdale of Guelph; his children, Carla (Mario Roussy) of Montreal, Paul (Judy) and Scott (Michelle Hamilton) of Guelph; his grandchildren, Paige, Tabitha, Patrick, Madison and Rebecca; his great grandchild Fletcher; and his brother Raymond Eskdale (May).

“We are so sad to hear of John's death. He was our neighbor for many years. John was a very caring and gentle man. I remember his beautiful Cherry tree in his back yard . He would share his cherries that the birds did not get and we would give him some plums from our Plum tree. We often would chat with him and his wife Jackie. Jackie and I attended ceramic classes .RIP John. Our sincerest condolences to Carla, Paul, Scotty and their families.”
