He is survived by: his wife Betty (Helder); his children, Melanie, Dave Niezen, Heidi, Gregg Purinton, Amanda, Adam van of Pol, Rebecca, Rick Knot and Curtis; his sister Betty Bouwman; and his mother-in-law Henderika Helder (Hennie). He is also survived by many brothers and sisters in law.
