He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Rodney and Leah Rodney. He is survived by: his wife Avis; his children, Omar and Karimah; his grandchildren, Sharifa, Omari, Naomi, Ama, Asha, Ovie, Abena, Imani and Jahzeal; and his sister-in-law Avis. He is also survived by siblings, nieces and nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9). A reception will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
