It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorraine Teresa Silvani of Guelph, Ontario, who passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Kavanagh and Margaret Kavanagh; and her mother-in-law Sonia Silvani (Strizewsky). She is survived by: her husband Michael; her siblings, Eileen (George), Kathleen (Ed), John (Caroline) and Paul (Marlene); her children, Daniel (Aislinn), Thomas (Veronica), Trevor (Katie) and Nick; and her grandchildren, Elsa, Tully, Maddy, Oliver and Everett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Dublin Chapel (252 Dublin St N, Guelph, ON N1H4P3). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Lorraine's memory to Michael House shelter, Stepping Stone, or Royal City Mission.
