Luigia Goegan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luigia Goegan (Guelph, Ontario), who passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Luigia Goegan to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Aldo Goegan; her daughter Cathy Goegan; her grandson Eric Goegan; and her siblings, Antonietta, Valentino, Giuseppe, Rosina, Natale, Eraldo, Rodolfo and Arturo.

She is survived by: her children, John Goegan, Carla Goegan, Carol Burnham (Dan) and Aldo Goegan Jr. (Martin); her grandchildren, Nicole Pestill, Alicia Robinson (Michael), Amanda Goegan, Ryan Burnham and Laura Burnham; her great grandchildren, Sadie, Jack and Winston; and her sisters-in-law, Veronica Campagnolo and Antonietta.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel (252 Dublin St N, Guelph, ON N1H 4P3). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate (28 Norfolk St, Guelph, ON N1H4H8).

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Eden House Care Facility or to Foundation of Guelph General Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family .
