He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anna Merdalo and Alfons Merdalo; his siblings, Liliana Merdalo (Wojtek), Mirka Merdalo (Janusz) and Alicja Janiec (late Lech); and his siblings' children, Kamila, Tomek and Jagoda.
