With sadness, we share the passing of Mary Ellen Hayhoe (Guelph, Ontario). Mary Ellen, born on July 8, 1935, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hayhoe and Louise Hayhoe; and her sister Ann. She is survived by: her brother Edward (Eleanor); her sister-in-law Amy; her nieces, Janette, Anita and Mary Jane; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Luke Hayhoe, Amy, Cecily Binning, Elias and Andrew Shurr; Addie and Autumn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel (252 Dublin St N, Guelph, ON N1H 4P3). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Dublin Chapel Dublin Chapel (252 Dublin St N, Guelph, ON N1H 4P3). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Dublin Chapel Dublin Fellowship (252 Dublin St N, Guelph, ON N1H 4P3).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Ellen's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
