She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Pius Simms; her children, Kathy Gristey (Geordie) and Matthew Simms; her grandchildren, Zachary Gristey, Alexandra Gristey (Alex), Pius Gristey, Calvin Simms and Willow Simms; her parents, Kay Sorbara and Jim Sorbara; her siblings, Ruth Gilmour (Steve), Ralph Sorbara (Sandy), Londo Sorbara (Diane) and Larry Sorbara; and her siblings-in-law, David Simms, Dan Simms (Johnette) and Evelyn Simms. She was also cherished by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
As expressions of sympathy in Mary's honour, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
