Mike Silvestro Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Silvestro (Guelph, Ontario), who passed away on January 27, 2026 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mike farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mike is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father Luigi Silvestro. He is survived by: his wife Sonia; his mother Theresa Silvestro; his siblings, Rosemary, Peter Misurka and Pat Silvestro (Judy Hooper); and his mother-in-law Jeannine Rysdyk.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 5th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Parish (45 Victoria Rd N, Guelph, ON N1E5G9).
