Nadia Berruti Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nadia Berruti (Guelph, Ontario), who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Alex Berruti; her children, Mason, Matthew and Ava; her parents, Angelo Piacampo and Lunetta Piacampo; her sister Sonia Piacampo; her mother-in-law Bianca Berruti (late Dino); and her siblings-in-law, Steve, Allison Berruti, Diane, Jason Hagarty, Zia, Benjamin, Brianna, Cole Berruti, Noah and Adele Hagarty.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. She continued caring for others, firstly as a PSW and then deciding to go back to school during the pandemic to become a Registered Practical Nurse. She continued to serve her community through palliative care nursing, working at the COVID assessment clinic and working with under-serviced populations.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to the Guelph Food Bank, Royal City Mission Church, and Stepping Stone, for their tireless work in helping the marginalized community.
