She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Robinson "Hank" Howitt; her parents, Helen Rogers and Maurice Duthie; her stepfathers, Stanley Thompson and Jack Rogers; and her brothers, Ted Duthie and Norm Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Ann (David), Judy (George), Kit (Paul) and Charles (Janet); her grandchildren, Justin, Caitlin (Miles), Sorrel (David), Owen (Alison), Ryan (Melanie), Brennan (Dave) and Garret; her great grandchildren, Anna, Landon, Millie, Tessa, Bennett and Willem; her sister-in-law Linda Thompson; her nieces, Wendy, Kim and Jane; her father-in-law Stanley Thompson; and her children, Pat and Hank.
