He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ryan and Marie Ryan (Gerrie); and his niece Julie. He is survived by: his siblings, Debbie Campolongo (Paul), Mike Ryan (Karen), Anne Avakian (Rick) and Linda Ryan-Dionisi (Ron); his nieces and nephews, Brian, Adam, James, Michael and Shelagh; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Parker, Peyton, Lauryn and Charlotte; and his close friends, Claudio, Valerio and Joanne.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sick Kids Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
