He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra; his children, Rob (Kelly), Greg (Lisa) and Carol (Tony); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Liam, Luke (Naomi van Stuyvenberg), Cole (Naomi Henry), Owen, Zoey, Carson, Katherine and Annalise; and his siblings, Richard "Dick" (Teresa) and Evelyn (Vince Eagan).

He is survived by: his sister Valerie (Neil McCorkindale). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

Peter and Sandra supported many charities over the years and in lieu of flowers, a contribution to one of the many causes Peter supported, including Hospice Wellington, Breakthrough T1D or the Ontario Agricultural College would be appreciated.
