He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Sloane Ireland. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ireland; his sons, Robert "Rob" Ireland (Nuala), Johnny "John" Ireland (Carrie Ann) and Bradley "Brad" Ireland (Tonya); and his grandchildren, Keegan Ireland (Maya), Jared Ireland, William Ireland, Eilish Ireland, Jack Ireland, Cooper Ireland, Brooke Ireland, Olivia Ireland and Carla Ireland.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home – Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (161 Norfolk St, Guelph, ON N1H4J7). A committal service was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (762 Woolwich St, Guelph, ON N1H3Z1). A reception was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (161 Norfolk St, Guelph, ON N1H4J7).
