He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Norma; his children, Douglas Whitting (Dorothy), Steven Whitting, Lesley Rawlings (Robert) and Keith Whitting (Anne); his grandchildren, Ashley, Kyle, Kayla and Andrew; and his stepgrandchildren, Melissa, Dylan and Shannon. He was also cherished by many great-grandchildren.
