She is survived by: her children, Lori Gierling (Bob), Anthony Thoms and Danielle Thoms; her granddaughters, Sarah and Chloe Gierling; and her siblings, Elizabeth Reid (Ross), Larry "Butch" O'Brecht (Helen), Judi McDougall (Dwight), Paddy O'Brien (Andrew) and Jim O'Brecht (Karen). She is also survived by extended family and friends.
