We bid farewell to Ross Douglas McKinnell (Guelph, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 14, 2025. Ross touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his brother Jerry; and his siblings-in-law, Donna McKinnell, Evelyn Sauers, Larry Sauers and Bob McLeod.
He is survived by: his wife Carol McKinnell; his children, Jane Cunnington, Joan McKinnell (Bruce Gaily) and John McKinnell (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Blake Cunnington, Ryley Cunnington, Rhys McKinnell and Grady McKinnell; his brother Murray; and his sisters-in-law, Joanne McKinnell and Muriel McLeod.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Brombal Funeral Home (1 Delhi St, Guelph, ON N1E4J3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity United Church (400 Stevenson St N, Guelph, ON N1E5C3).
In memory of Ross, donations to Hospice Wellington or The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
