Sean Franklin Rea Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sean Franklin Rea (Guelph, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sean Franklin Rea to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his brother Bill; and his stepsister Margaret Scott. He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his daughters, Lisa (Dale Zacharias) and Laura Hallett (Greg Baglole); his grandchildren, Emma, Martha (Kieran Lee), Thomas Zacharias and Jane Hallett; his siblings, Doreen (Bill Everitt) and Ted (Elga); and his siblings-in-law, Jody Rea, Richard (Chris), Grant and Janet (Ralph Lynn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Guelph General Hospital Foundation or SickKids Foundation, Toronto.
