She was predeceased by: her siblings, Rudy (Sue), Norman (Agnes), Barbara (Mel) and Betty Mitchell; and her stepsons, David Hesp (Yvonne) and Kenneth Hesp.

She is survived by: her husband Murray; her daughter Karen Freure (Bob Pastway); her grandchildren, Jason and Emily; her brothers, Baxter (June) and Bill (Gail); and her stepdaughter Donna (late Kyle Booth).
