It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Wood (Guelph, Ontario), born in Erin, Ontario, who passed away on January 3, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Norman; her parents, Roy Lowry and Eliza Lowry; her siblings, Jim, Thelma and Alice; and her grandson Eric.

She is survived by: her children, Don, Norma (Robert) of Vancouver and Leslie (Matthew) of Toronto; her sister Myrtle Guthrie; her grandchildren, Juma, Aaron, Scarlet and Joel; her great grandchild Niko; her sister-in-law Gerry Evans; her nephew Mike Gilliam; and her adoptive children, Bob, Nancy Molto and Mike Hollingshead.

Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

“My deepest sympathy to all of Shirely' family. I am sorry Leslie, that I only heard the news today, from my sister, who heard from one of our cousins. She was always so nice to me when I came to the house. After my dad died, I would visit once and awhile but my visits to Guelph became less frequent over the years. Dad was my connection to getting over to Guelph. I often thought about your mom. She was so good for my dad and loved the relationship that they shared. May she RIP. Geraldine”
