Teresa Marthaler Obituary
We announce the death of Teresa Marthaler (Guelph, Ontario), who passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 76. Teresa will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovanni Carpino and Maria Carpino; her brother Frank Carpino; and her cousin Bernardo Carpino. She is survived by: her husband Fritz Marthaler; her children, Tania (Alex Wallace), Bryan (Josephine Anderson) and Andre (Melissa MacKinnon-Marthaler); her grandchildren, Emma, Fraser, Freja, Adler and Eloise; her sister-in-law May-Lis Carpino; and her siblings, Ross Carpino (Debbie), Mirella Reynen (Rick) and Lina Carpino (Joe Filigno). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Wellington, Guelph General Hospital, Juravinski Cancer Centre or Canadian Blood Services in her memory.
