With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Valerie Jeanette Bricknell (Guelph, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Douglas James Bricknell; her parents, Maurice Pitman and Betty Pitman; her children, Michele Sgro (late Tony) and Wayne Bricknell (Maria); her grandchildren, Tyler (Jenni), Spencer (Ally), Doug (Lauren) and Julia; her great grandchildren, Max and Sofia; her brother Wayne Pitman (Maureen); and her sibling's children, Susan, Nancy (Frank) and Craig.

In lieu of flowers, the family has kindly requested that donations be made to the Oakville or Guelph Humane Societies memory of Valerie Bricknell.
