Wayne leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Wayne’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Wayne will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Steven Deforest, Lowanna Patterson, Ashley Smith and Sabrina Reid; and his grandchildren, Sarah Lockhart, Izaak Wilks, Maddison Kostal, Dylan Patterson and Hannah Kostal. He was also cherished by his many siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Raging Bull Banquet Hall (84 Lewis Rd, Guelph, ON N1H1G1).
