He was predeceased by: his parents, Irena Jakiela and Kazimierz Jakiela; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Jakiela; his children, Angelika Jakiela, Martin and Sebastian Jakiela; and his grandchildren, Lukas Jakiela, Michaela and Willow Jakiela.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate (28 Norfolk St, Guelph, ON N1H4H8).
