Charles Edward McCarthy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2026, at the age of 83, Charles Edward McCarthy of Hagersville, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Edward McCarthy to pay them a last tribute.
Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheri Harmidarow (Mike) and Christie McCarthy; his friend Candy Hillier; and his cousins, Ann Aitchison (Brian), Epa, Micheal and Colt Harmidarow.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R. H. B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd. (60 Main St S, Hagersville, ON N0A1H0). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's R. C. Church (94 Main St S, Hagersville, ON N0A1H0).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice (https://norfolkhaldimandhospice.ca) or Scleroderma Society of Ontario.
