He was predeceased by: his son Robert; his parents, Peter Wilkins and Viola Wilkins; and his brother Don (Gertie). He is survived by: his wife Carrol Robinson; his children, Kevin, Mike (Lisa), Peter (Penny) and Angela (Sandro); and also, Rose (Roland), Tracy (Nathan), Stephanie (Eric) and John (Kathy). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.
