He was predeceased by : his fathers-in-law, Brian (Tricia) and Kenneth Jacobs; his father Daniel; his nephews, Clayton and Kyle; and his niece Sydney Rae.

He is survived by : his close friend Beverley Jacobs; his children, Taylor (Baylee) and Ashley; his grandchildren, Patty, Nicholas, Tessa (Jay), Bryson, Kenna, Deklyn and Mavis; his mother Phyllis (Bryan); his step-mother Josephine; his siblings, Lyle (Ang), Sharon (Phil), Ali, Duane (Peg), Sandra, Leiza (late Jim), Jim (Cindy), Derek (Becky) and Sonya (Curtis); his parents-in-law, Brenda, Brad (Sharon) and Blair; and his pet Bessie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
