He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his parents, Catherine Fong and Yuen Fong; and his in-laws, Sue (Bill Needham), Al Fong, Barry Fong, Holly (John Walton), Vicky (Harvey Cadieux), Tootsie (Jack Brown) and Raymond Gordon.
He is survived by: his children, Traci Fong, Chad Fong and Jennifer Rosko-Fong; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Jeffrey Larose, Taylor Rosko-Fong, Adam Gavin, Jakob Rosko-Fong, Hannah Chartrand and Nolan Rosko-Fong; his great grandchildren, Avery Gavin and Mya Larose; and his in-laws, Raymonde Fong, Heather Gordon, Bingo (Stephanie Fong), Sheila, Syd Palmer, Denise Fong, Joe, Debby Fong, Archie and Rosemary Fong. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
