He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernadette Sylvester (Raoul Mercier) and Marlene Sylvester. He is survived by: his sisters, Carole Lanthier (late Mike), Patricia Smeltzer (late Jim) and Glenn Mercier (Pam); his children, Cheri Fowler (Allen), Kelly Mercier (Wade) and Patrick Scott (Shauntay); and his grandchildren, Merrick, Brodrick, Hunter, Charity, Hudson, McKenna, Lily, Jenna, Jayson and Patrick.
