Eleanor Mitchell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Mitchell (Haileybury, Ontario), who passed away on September 20, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor Mitchell to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lawrence and Lila Lawrence (Marshall); her siblings-in-law, Cecil, Guy Mitchell and Marlene Mitchell (Ryan); and her son Todd Wesley Mitchell.

She is survived by: her husband John Wayne Mitchell; her children, Tami Mitchell Horz (Dallas) and Lawrence Wayne (Mitchell); her sister Muriel Bates (Ted); and her sister-in-law Marion Lawrence Chris (Bill). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to the TPR Ladies Auxiliary or the charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated by the family.
