He was predeceased by: his father Robert; his parents-in-law, Jackie and Tony Robert; his siblings, Jack, Jody and Bonnie; his siblings-in-law, Basil and Bonnie; and his son Mark.

He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his sons, Luke, John (Melissa) and Matthew (Ashley); his grandchildren, Ryan and Ian; his mother Della; his siblings, Harold (Noella), Bob (Charlene), Dennis, Doug, Pauline (Rosaire), Sandra (Perry) and Kimmy; and his sisters-in-law, Francis, Pauline and Lou. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family members and friends.
