With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Waddell (Haileybury, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Helen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Helen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Waddell. She is survived by: her brothers, Pat (Annette) of Richmond Hill and Frankie of British Columbia; and her children, Michael of Redbridge, Paul (Kathy) of Guelph and Mary-Anne (Rick Figg) of Elora. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In memory, contributions to Temiskaming Lodge or Holy Trinity in Englehart will be greatly appreciated.
