He was predeceased by: his son Joseph; his parents, Albert Chicoine and Marie-Anna Chicoine; and his siblings-in-law, Henri, Jean-Noël, Paul-Émile, Albert Lapolice, Françoise Camirand, Gertrude Lapolice, Noëlla Plante, Laura Lapolice, Hélène Ouimet and Yvette Mathieu.
He is survived by: his siblings, Albany (Ben), Marie Jeanne Gauvreau, Alice Auclair, Adrienne Gauvreau, Angéline Chicoine and Simone Carpentier; and his in-laws, Donat and Louise Lapolice.
