In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Julia's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Valerie Cheng Siu Wah and Victor Cheng Tze Chau; her sister Joyce; her brother-in-law Gin; and her brother Gregory.
She is survived by: her husband Robert; and her sister Marcella (Bill). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home (483 Broadway St, Haileybury, ON P0J1K0). She incorporated her heritage in all of her creative endeavours, from the Chinese lanterns she used in her gardening, to her delicious cooking; from sewing intricate cheongsam figure skating and prom dresses, to leading a virtual Chinese Brush Painting workshop during the pandemic lockdown.
