He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene and Aline (Lapointe); his wife Jeanne d'Arc (Benoit); his siblings, Irene Legault (Victor), Lucille Scott (Bob), Emma Boudrias (Maurice), Yvonne Gelinas (Real) and Fortunat (Suzanne); and his siblings-in-law, Jean-Paul Rivard, Roger Benoit, Jacques Benoit, Real Lamoureux, Carson Presseault and Laurianne Laffin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sylvie Hearn (Darcy), Noella Dufresne (Harold) and Anita Walkingshaw (Michael); his siblings, Jeannine Hetherington (John), Helena, Marcel (Pauline) and Norman (Dina); his sister-in-law Bonnie Charland; and his in-laws, Solange Thibault, Aline (Roger Gauthier), Peter Laffin, Linda Benoit, Carmen (Raymond Brazeau), Yvette, Francine (Robert Landriault), Monique (Claude Loranger), Brigitte (Mark McMahon), Germaine (Robert Pepin), Pierre (Susan), Gilles (Pauline) and Francois (Delcie). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Julien's memory may be made to the Alzheimer/Dementia Society of Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
