He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Kant and Annie Kant; his sister Neolla Renaud; his brother-in-law Arthur Renauld; and his uncles, Jim and Sam Lafrance.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Cassandra, Megan, Joleen, Zak, Tristen and Aiden; his nephews, Denis and Michael Renaud; his niece Lisa Renaud; his godson Christopher Renaud; and his aunts, Florence Renauld Lafrance and May Renaud Lafrance.
