With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melinda-Lee Kathleen Burke (Haileybury, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Melinda-Lee farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Melinda-Lee is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Stephen Hill; her parents, Sabrina Burke and Desmond Burke; her siblings, Mark-Andrew (Glenda), Melanie-Lynn (Martin) and Karen (Morris); and her siblings-in-law, Suzanne, Pat (Pat), Wilfred (Kyoungah) and Carson.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Church (62 5th Avenue). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
