She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Kift and Dorell Troop (Heffernan); her goddaughter Kimberly Van Alstine; and her pet Ninja of Brutus, BJ. She is survived by: her husband Gerald McGarry; her children, Tracy McGarry (James Culp) and James McGarry (Tricia McGarry); her sister Sally McGarry (Peter McGarry); her grandchildren, Sarah Dessureault, Laura Dessureault, Cameron McGarry and Ava McGarry; her niece Tammy Wiggins (Roger Wiggins); her great-niece Jessica Wiggins; her friend Cecile Berthelette; and her close friends, Trudy Woods-Allaire and Yvon Desjardin.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Beverly-Ann Boros Palliative Care Suite at the Temiskaming Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
