Barbara leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Barbara’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Barbara will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalton Jermey and Edythe Jermey; her husband Ron Babcock; and her brother Don Jermey of Alameda, Saskatchewan.. She is survived by: her daughter Maureen Ruttig (Rick) of Blind Bay, BC.; and her sister Louise McNeil (Derek) of Orillia.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. George's Anglican Church (617 Mountain St, Haliburton, ON K0M1S0).
