He was predeceased by: his son Donnie; his parents, George Shaw and Stella Shaw; and his siblings, Joe, Harry, Allan, Fred, Erving, Charlie, Evan, Margaret and Myrtle.
He is survived by: his children, Richard, Millie (Jim) and Robyn. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
