Doris LaPorte Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris LaPorte of Haliburton, Ontario, who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Lewis and Gordon Lewis; her significant other Frank LaPorte; her daughter-in-law Sherry; her sisters, Mae Cooper and Millie Dawe; and her siblings-in-law, Don LaPorte, Dave LaPorte, Jim LaPorte, Ray Cooper, Mel Dawe, Doris Winter, Clara Higgins, Hilda LaPorte and Diane Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Larry (Sheila), Blake (Nicole) and Rhonda Shaw (Barry); her grandchildren, Jenny Moore (Darryl), Aaron LaPorte (Nicole), Josh Shaw (Amy), Meghan Kelsh (Tyler) and Alexandre LaPorte; and her siblings-in-law, Ed LaPorte, Howard Higgins, Barb Nesbitt, Audress LaPorte, Caroline LaPorte and Marilyn LaPorte. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
