He was predeceased by : his grandchildren, Lauren and Harry. He is survived by : his wife Ruth; his children, Brad (Lorrie), Lori, Greg (Christine), Gary, Rob (Susan) and Ed (Leigh); his grandchildren, Madeline (Brian), Melissa (Paul), Mitchell (Cassie), Colin, Emma, Tom (Kristina), Ben (Jennifer) and Travis; and his great grandchildren, Leo, Riley, Hannah and Harper.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to Guide Dogs Canada, Extendicare Proud Pioneers, or Haliburton Highlands Health Services would be appreciated by the family.
