It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Ruth (Ireland) Hillier (Haliburton, Ontario), who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herb Ireland and Ruth Ireland; and her sister Susan. She is survived by: her husband Roger; her grandsons, Ryan and Matthew McGarrigle; and her sisters, Carolyn Whittle (George) and Jane Lawrence (Brian). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Judy's memory can be made to the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or to any other charitable organization dealing with abused women.
