She was predeceased by: her husband Giuseppe Vetrone; her parents, Fabrizio Giacomelli and Maria Giacomelli; and her siblings, Primo, Cecilia, Flora, Arturo, Uliana, Romualdo and Vanda.
She is survived by: her children, Nick, Fay, Rosemary Jaskula, Joe and Brenda; her grandchildren, Paul (Kelly), Nicholas, Laura, Jacob, Rachel (Lawson) and Michael; her sister Evelina Gambioli; and her brother-in-law Anthony (Nella Vetrone). She is also survived by her many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (128 Edgemont St S, Hamilton, ON L8K2H8). An entombment will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1).
